MLDA@EEE is proud to announce our very own hackathon as part of Deep Learning Week 2020 in collaboration with SGInnovate. The topic of this competition revolves around the theme of AI in Business and Economics. Come out with the most creative and innovative solution and stand a chance to win from a prize pool worth up to $700. This competition is open to all NTU undergraduates.

Participant: All NTU undergraduates

Requirements

All submissions are to be done through Devpost. Only the submissions before 10 am 18th October 2020 are accepted, late submissions will not be attended.

Details on how to submit through Devpost are as follows:

  • Upload a file as part of your submission - e.g., zip, pdf, word, apk, etc. To upload multiple files, put them in a zip file and upload the zip file. Limit: 35 MB.
  • Multiple submissions are allowed, but only the last submission will be judged.

The judging criteria for the proposal are based on the "Proposal and Coding Evaluation" section stated in the handbook. After submitting proposals, participants are expected to prepare for the presentation for the finale. Please be reminded that only the shortlisted top 10 teams will present their ideas to the judges. The judging criteria for presentation are based on the "Presentation of Slides" section stated in the handbook.

  • Presentation Slides/Proposal + Coding - 70%
    Content (10%); Relevance of the idea towards the problem statement (10%); Creativity (10%); Feasibility of ideas and its impact (towards society etc) (10%); Aesthetics and Style of Proposal (10%); Coding Skills 20%.
  • Presentation of Slides - 30%
    Clarity and Persuasiveness (10%); Coordination and Teamwork (10%); Q&A Session (10%).
